The film depicts the experiences of Italians, both Jewish and non-Jewish, during the period spanning from the enactment of the racial laws (1938) to the deportations from Italy (1943-1945). Numerous testimonies are presented, offering diverse perspectives, including those of individuals who, at the time (and even today), supported the enforcement of those measures.
