In the Second Line is a poignant documentary that reveals deeply personal migration stories of five Ukrainian women and a young girl who found themselves in Rome, Italy, amidst the ongoing war in Ukraine. Brought together through social project “The Art of Healing” – realised by the refugee-led nonprofit Sensi Holistic Creative Agency with the support of UNHCR and INTERSOS – the film offers an intimate exploration of resilience and identity in the face of unimaginable loss.Museums, archaeological sites, palaces, and fortresses—symbols of the richness of our national cultural heritage—often off the beaten tourist paths, offering an intimate and personal experience that rewards the anticipation of their discovery.
